“Songs For Sunday” In The Key Of The Kelly Clarkson Show! Kelly Sings On Her New Talk Show – Here Are Some Of Her Best Songs!

Yes, The Kelly Clarkson Show Has A Fresh Flower Wall!

I love these fresh flowers!

It’s just one of the many cool touches for Kelly Clarkson’s new daytime talk show, which premieres Monday across the country!

As you can see from the set, the show is going to be big and bold – a show filled with humor and heart, big celebrates and real people who have stories to inspire us all to create a more positive world.

My wife Alex Duda is the Executive Producer of the show, and here is what she just said to USAToday about Kelly:

“I always say she’s one of us in a way that so many celebrities aren’t, because we chose her,” says executive producer Alex Duda, referring to Clarkson’s talent-show roots. “ Even though she’s a big superstar, we all feel like she’s our best friend. That’s the best combination of qualities for a daytime host. She’s like a jazz artist. She brings all the humor, all her personality and infuses it into the basic melody we give her.”

Every episode will begin with Kelly singing to the audience int he’s studio and at home, so my “Songs For Sunday” this week celebrates some of her biggest hits!

Yes, Kelly also has a massive “Yarn Wall”, and fans can get pictures with it after attending a taping…but now, time for some music!

Let’s get it started with “Stronger”, from the 2011 album of the same name…her fifth album and “Stronger” was her third #1 song.

“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me, myself and I
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller”

Here’s the music video for the song, but I assume you’ve already seen it, since more than 320-MILLION others have watched it on Youtube!

Another terrific song, seen over 82-million times, is “Since U Been Gone” – another huge hit that takes full advantage of Kelly’s great voice:

Kelly won “American Idol” in 2002 – 17 years ago, and she’s been making music ever since!

Her latest album “Meaning Of Life” includes the hit single “Love So Soft” and here is that music video…

One of the things I love about the Kelly Clarkson Show is that the social media team is sharing lots of great behind-the-scenes moment like this one!

Here is Kelly’s tour of her wardrobe area:

I shared the quote from my wife about Kelly, and here’s that great story from USA Today with lots of interesting topics covered:

Most importantly: the show premieres everywhere in the US on Monday, Sept. 9th!

  3. I love these songs, John. I feel like I am holding my breath for tomorrow.

  4. Many congrats to your wife, and looking forward to the show)

    • Thank you for the comment – it really is an inspiring show with equal parts humor and heart, and lots of music! Kelly is trying to celebrate what brings us together, not what is currently tearing us apart…and the show will highlight real people who are inspiring as well as celebrities who are also trying to make a positive different – and it will be funny as well!

  5. Wow! Congratulations, Alex! This is quite an accomplishment. Good luck to Kelly and the crew. Great post, John.

    • Cindy, on Tuesday’s episode, Kelly celebrates music teachers with some BIG surprises…Kelly’s Mom was a teacher and is on the show that day as well…she is going to put a spotlight on people and professions that deserve far more respect than they get…thanks for commenting!
