A Wave Pool Turned Dangerous!
This video is being shared all over the internet, after a gentle wave pool suddenly had a “Tsunami”!
It happened at the Yulong Shuiyun Water Amusement Park, in the city of Longjing in China’s northeastern Jilin Province.
The Water Amusement Park has a wave pool, which they call the “Tsunami Pool.”
But no one expected it to live up to its name!

44 guests were injured, including three who suffered broken ribs or legs.
As SoraNews24 reported:
The Longjiang city government has denied early rumors that operator error was to blame, and is instead saying that its initial findings show that a power cut damaged the Tsunami Pool’s electronic equipment and caused a malfunction, though it’s not currently clear how a loss of power had the end result of making the machine-produced waves larger than intended.
The park was closed for a day for an inspection and investigation, but is reportedly now open for business again.

Ultimately more than 40 people were treated for a variety of minor injuries, but happy to read that few people were seriously injured by this dangerous tsunami wave!

Yes, but in China, the wave pools are SO packed, along whit beaches, you can’t even swim, you just stand in the water next to everyone else!

These water parks are always packed to the gills with people – so much so you can barely move when in the pool…yuck
