Jimmy Fallon’s Terrific “Hall And Oates” Tribute – With Daryl Hall’s Help!

Jimmy Fallon Recaps Daryl Hall & John Oates’ Biggest Hits – With Daryl Hall!

Doing an online search last night led me to this classic moment on Jimmy Fallon’s show from a few years ago, when Daryl Hall stopped by to promote his latest solo album…and ended up doing impromptu moments from his greatest hits – with lots of hilarious prompting by Fallon!

Here is the incredible seven-minute homage to Hall & Oates, with Daryl playing along with The Roots as Jimmy counts down all of their incredible hits – singing along with many of them as well:

Bravo to Fallon – he has shown to be a huge music fan and always respected the Artists who come by the show – and bravo to Daryl Hall for his incredible string of hit songs!

Locked Up “Sacred Songs!”

Oh, did you know that, even with these massive hits, Daryl’s first solo album was locked up in the vaults by his record label? It’s true!

On his hit TV show “Live from Daryl’s House”, Daryl collaborated with the talented songwriters and musicians Kitty, Daisy & Lewis Durham on the title track to his first solo album “Sacred Songs”:

Yes, RCA locked up the album in a vault, not happy with Hall’s musical direction! Here is the story of his battle to get his first solo album released:

That story link also talks about an incredible song from his next solo album “Someone Like You” – which actually has two different titles!

Here is that music video as well!

So much incredible music!

  2. The presenter did very well to sing along to those songs. Great to hear so many of them again, especially ‘She’s Gone’.
    Best wishes, Pete.
