Trouble indeed! Time to look at a Japanese trend in the 70’s that blew the doors off of exploitation films and introduced the world to “pinky violence!”

In the 60’s and 70’s, the Japanese had a category of movie known as the “Pink film”, a term used to categorize a wide variety of Japanese films with adult content.
These movies were, for the most part, action thrillers with a certain amount of nudity and sexual situations…but they were NOT pornography! Think of them as drive-in style, “R”-rated morality tales – with a Japanese twist!
