I haven’t seen the series on TV. (I don’t have access to it) I am not sure that I would watch it though, despite a very good cast. Sometimes, (most times…) the original idea is best left alone, and that film was something special at the time.

I’ve been watching it. There’s a lot of great things to say about it, but alas, it felt really choppy and half the time I wasn’t sure what was going on. I kept checking to see if I missed an episode that gave it a gap in the narrative when I picked it up. Maybe it is my fault because I’d watch an episode then try to pick up the thread a week later and the flashbacks and the present/manipulations of the robots didn’t know what was happening and I wasn’t sure, either. SO I do love the characters individually–all are acting great and the technology is lovely, but I find myself scratching my head at the end and wonder if I have the stamina to keep going.
