Thanks for checking out my blog!
A bit of background: I worked at E! Entertainment Television and G4 TV, both of which allowed me to have fun doing what I love to do – especially travel to unique places with my wife Alex, such as the provencal village of Gigondas…
We also spent a memorable week cooking with Patrica Wells at her home in Vaison la Romaine…here with are with Patricia, posing in front of Julia Child’s stove!
And here is the village of Vaison la Romaine…
I’ve also had the chance to work and travel with great people, like my trip to Australia with Sasha Grey…
And I had an equally memorable trip to Tokyo with Alex Sim-Wise – check out the story about our visit to Tokyo’s smallest bars!
I am also a fan of fun food – and that means I like to find the world’s biggest and best burgers!
I also love to post about bacon, especially when someone sends me pictures like these…
I was most recently Executive Vice President of Programming and Production for G4 TV. Prior to that I was the Executive Producer of the first competitive cooking competition on television: “Cooking Under Fire” for PBS, as well as Executive Producer of “Celebrity Temps” for NBC and “Favorite Stars: Then & Now” for ABC.
Prior to that, I ran programming for E! Entertainment Television, and created the “Wild ON…” travel series as well as “Celebrity Adventures” – and created the network’s “Live From The Red Carpet” coverage. I was also one of the Executive Producers for “The Howard Stern Show” on E!
I am a lover of movies, media and classic exploitation films, and some current ones as well, especially coming out of Asia.
I have posted a number of stories about some of the craziest movies from Asia, as well as classic exploitation movies as well…
You can explore all of those classic exploitation movies as well, and I also love to post about unique bacon items, like this bacon armor!

Dear John — I recently posted a recipe for my hundred year old hamburger on “John’s Web Space” on which you commented. I want to apologize to you because in that recipe I forgot to include a single ingredient. The ingredient is one half teaspoon common baking soda in a tablespoon of water for tenderizing the beef before cooking. If you use this ingredient please allow it to work in the meat for at least 15 minutes before cooking. Again, I apologize for the oversight. Best Wishes, John Liming

Let me know how it turns out and remember to toast your buns if you like them that way —I prefer “Ballpark” brand buns for mine…

Hi. Did the jrsploitation blog go down?

Yes it has been deleted. Sadly, I was being targeted by someone on social media.

Yes, I wasps targeted and just wasn’t worth it, although I had a lot of people who enjoyed the stories and for that I am very appreciative. I always appreciated your comments.

Hi John,
Just wanted to thank you!
I ran across your blog while I was researching the movie Machine Girl. I rediscovered the film recently on TUBI. I was happy to find your blog included articles on J-Sploitation movies including Machine Girl. You are a great resource.
Thanks!

Hi John,
I just read your piece on James Caan. Really interesting. I was just looking for a meme for fuggedabahtit – Mickey Blue Eyes – and learned so much more.
Got a lot of movies to watch now.
Thanks.
