Click my story above to see why this is the greatest Bond film of them all…and happy birthday to the “one and done” Bond, George Lazenby!

I mean, what other film would use the catch phrase “Far Up! Far Out! Far More!”

This was a good Bond film, but my favourite remains Octopussy with Roger Moore.

Brilliant film. I’ve always thought that George got the coolest intro scene of any of the Bond actors. Love how we just see a few glimpses of him as he is driving before seeing him in full.

I saw this at the cinema on release. Lazenby looked the part as Bond, but his acting background in TV advertising seemed to limit his charisma in the role. At least to me. After Connery, I never really ‘believed’ any of the JBs.
Best wishes, Pete.

Pete, Connery is always THE James Bond, but what made this film the greatest for me is the humanity of Bond at the end, and of course Diana Rigg as the most “kick ass” Bond girl of all time! Thanks for the comment as always!

I always say Connery was my main Bond, but Lazenby had the best story to work with – it humanized the character – and yes, sad to hear that…thanks for the comment, always great to hear from you!

Connery was 007 but like you Lazenby was great in a more down to earth Bond. Have a great Sunday. chuq

Thanks for the comment! Connery was 007 to me and always will be the best, but the one Lazenby film had the most powerful human impact on Bond and Lazenby was lucky enough to be the actor in it…imagine if it was Connery!

They have a mini 007 museum on top of the Schilthorn in Switzerland because parts of the movie were filmed there!
