New York’s Lit Up For The Holidays! The 30 Rock Tree Video! + Bergdorf Goodman’s Magical Holiday Windows!

New York Gets “Lit” For The Holidays!

It is another holiday season in “The Big Apple”, and that means festive lights and decorations everywhere!

Radio City Music Hall is surrounded by giant red bulbs – which sparkle at night! Here’s what it looks like in the daytime:

Just a few blocks north, one of the city’s most iconic holiday displays is back!

Bergdorf Goodman’s Holiday Windows Are Back!

This is the signature Bergdorf Goodman store located on 57th and 5th avenue, and while this is what their signature picture windows look like the rest of the year, here’s what they look like right now:

WOW!

As is their annual tradition, every single window has a special design for the holiday!

The 2024 holiday theme is “Toast of the Town”, inspired by the glamour of New York City. The campaign includes in-store and digital activations, as well as the famous Fifth Avenue windows!

Here’s one up close:

This “Toast Of The Town” window celebrate the city’s iconic “Taxicabs Of Fifth Avenue!”

Here are more:

Let’s take a closer look at this one:

These beautifully decorated windows are just another reason to love New York during the holiday – and what about this incredible light show?

Spectacular, right?

Except Sak’s 5th Avenue has cancelled this holiday display for 2024!

Very sad news…but right across the street you will still see this:

30 Rock’s Christmas Tree Is Back!

This is the annual holiday tree that was just lit up last night…here is how it was unveiled to thousands of fans:

It’s so magical!

It’s the season for holiday cheer – and humor too – like this meme that reminds us “placement is everything!”

Oops! It’s just one of many funny memes I have for you – just click here for some holiday cheer!

  6. They certainly go the whole hog in NYC. It reminds me a little of when I was living in Central London, but that was nowehere near as impressive as what they have done in New York.

    Best wishes, Pete.

  8. Several of my co-workers are spending time in New York City this Christmas. The namesake of the office is hanging out there right now. Maybe I’ll get to go at some point. Until then I’ll live vicariously through these fun posts, John!
