Dive Into Your Childhood Memories – With A Highball In Hand!

Remember as a kid, when your parents would take you to the kind of restaurant that offered this “fun pit” for you to enjoy?

Well in Japan, the fun continues even after you are old enough to drink – because they turned this “pit of fun” into a “Ball Pool Bar Dive!”

According to SoraNews24:

“It’s Japan’s latest drinking venue, where customers kick off their shoes and sink their bodies into a cosy ball pit while ordering cocktails from the menu. Called Ball Pool Bar Dive, the Osaka establishment opened at the end of July and has already made news around the country for its unique ball pit!”

90-minutes of “all-you-can-drink” plans cost 2,000 yen for women and 3,000 yen for men – roughly $20 for women and $30 for guys, which is fair because we bring the best ball dives!

Well, why should kids be the only ones to have fun in a restaurant?

If you like that, why not try some wearable food as well, like this new “fried tempura snuggie:

And speaking of food-based products to wear, school kids in Japan can now use their “sushi backpacks” for schoolbooks!

  1. Gotta say, this scratches an itch for me – I’m their target audience. I’d do it!

  2. I’m not sure how I feel about this, John. I guess when you’re drinking, everything can seem like a good idea! 🙂

  3. Hmmm, no ball pool for me. The balls are dirty and I never liked them for my kids. I’m obviously boring because I can’t see the appeal for adults.

  4. I probably wouldn’t jump Into the ball pool, knowing how gross they are from taking my kids and grandkids to them, but I would love to try the food and love the sushi mosaic

  5. I’ve been in a ball pool with my grandchildren, so this looks like a lot of fun! I’d have to decline the sushi though.

  6. I’m too old to have ever been in a ball pool, so I guess I would just have to try that one, and hope that I didn’t spill my drink!

    Best wishes, Pete.
