Welcome To The 2023 Holidays New York Style!
Welcome to one of the most festive cities on earth! This is the famous Christmas tree at 30 Rockefeller Plaza – where my wife shoots her TV show!
It’s a magical place to visit – and just a block away, you can see this incredible holiday sight as well:
As you can see, Radio City Music Hall is right across from these giant tree ornaments – and nearby is this incredible scene from 5th Avenue:
And at the famous Saks 5th Avenue department store, they also love to celebrate the season:
Here is video I shot at the Lotte New York Palace, where their courtyard is a winter wonderland:
It all began on Thanksgiving day, when the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade went right by our apartment, and we got views like this singing human Christmas tree:
Here’s a bit of the pomp and pageantry of the day, as seen from our curbside seats!
Of course, it ended with the big guy himself, this time joined by Mrs. Calus, who was none other than my friend Sheryl Lee Ralph!
Of course, it ended with the big guy himself, this time joined by Mrs. Claus, who was none other than my friend Sheryl Lee Ralph!
Instagram is filled with pictures of the season, like this shot of Union Square’s massive Christmas market – and what about the holiday market in Bryant Park – which includes a skating rink!
Yes, New York is looking festive this holiday season – and if all this sightseeing makes you hungry, why not get a burger like this?
It’s one of the most acclaimed burgers in town, and if you click here you can see why!
Of course, everywhere you turn in New York there is something to capture….like the colors of fall in Central Park:
I just happened to be here when the sun kissed that beautiful tree – but here was so much more to capture as well!
See my favorite pics and videos here:
I also shared this story of an incredible sight I came across after a big rainstorm – again, in Central Park
This is water from “The Lake” in Central Park!
Click here to see some video of a very colorful overflow!
And of course, the lake is where I come across these guys:
The lake is full of Turtles – hungry ones!
Click here to see how they come out of the water for food!

Sad to hear that apartment building crashed – thank goodness everyone got out. What a thing to happen right before Christmas and during Chanukah.
