Would You Ride The Wildest “Top Spin” Ride EVER? Plus The Longest “Flying Roller Coaster” In The World?

Welcome To Germany’s Disneyland!

First, I have to thank my friend Eleanor, who sent me a video that I will share with you – it’s wild!

But first, time to head to Europe to visit an incredible theme park filled with wild wild rides!

“Phantasialand” is a massive theme park located near Cologne Germany

It attracts more than 2 million visitors a year! The park was opened in 1967, and is filled with themed areas just like Disneyland.

But the video Eleanor sent me was from the best “Top Spin” ride in the world!

It’s called the “Huss Top Spin” ride – and it is wild! In the photo Abe, those are legs coming out of the TOP of the seats!

Yes, this lifts you upside down!

Ready? Set? Ride!

Here is the video she shared – wow!

Thanks to the terrific YouTube channel “Hold Tight Riders” for this!

What a way to lose your lunch!

I would never do this, but it’s clear that millions and millions do!

I’m not sure I could take being put into a ride like this and then thrown around upside down….and if that’s not wild enough:

Who’s ready to F.L.Y.?

Time To “F.L.Y.!”

F.L.Y. is the longest “Flying Roller Coaster” in the world!

This spectacular ride features over 4,000 feet of track with two impressive launches and reaches speeds of up to 48.5mph!

Look at this!

Well, I wouldn’t do this either, but I love that it exists!

I would however go next door to Switzerland to try this:

It’s a roller coaster that goes down the Alps!

Click here to see just how wild it is!

And I also showed you what New Jersey has to compete:

It’s called a “Devil Coaster” for a reason!

See video of this wild wild ride here:

Now, imagine going on one of these rides and having this happen:

It stops with you upside down – and gets stuck!

It happened – click here to see for how long!

And finally, there is a theme park that has a very slow, gentle roller coaster – with a twist!

It’s filled with soapy water!

Yes, it’s real and if you click here you can see more!

  1. HI John, I used to do these sorts of rides but not any more. I prefer to go to museums or the bush these days.

  2. The spinning ride would be a hard no. I can’t do rides like that. The old teacups from Disneyland or even a simple merry-go-round make me sick in seconds.

The coaster I’d at least consider as I do better on those, but likely I wouldn’t likely do that either.

  3. Definitely wild! This was fun to watch, but I would pass on doing it.

  4. Lots of fun, John. I’ve been on similar ones when I was younger. I’m going to Switzerland this summer. An Alpine ride would be great…but…no. I’m done with whipper-snapping my body parts. Now a hike…

  7. My very short answer is No. I would never go on such rides, as they make me feel ill. I don’t even want to watch the videos! 🙂
I have a friend (much younger than me) who is addicted to them. He travels the world on his holidays just to ride on them, with a small group of friends who feel the same way.
    Best wishes, Pete.
