These “Wind Games” Have Incredible “Sky Dancers!” Here’s The Amazing Video!

Check Out This Amazing “Sky Dancer!”

Who wants to fly with the wind? that’s right – no ropes or harnesses, just air!

Well, you can!

I had not heard of “Wind Games” or “Sky Dancing”, but it’s been going for a few years and it’s incredible!

Wind Games are an annual tournament for indoor skydiving, sponsored by Windoor, a manufacturer of vertical wind tunnels. The event first took place in 2014 and has always been held at Windoor’s facility in Empuriabrava, Spain.

The event has been held several times, with the most recent event from 2020, so let’s hope it returns post pandemic!

Want to see some incredible video?

Check out Maja Kuczyńska, World Junior Champion, as she performs an amazing skydance to Chandelier by Sia at the Windgames 2016 Freestyle Music event.

At the beginning of this promo vid, Maja lets us know that she’s 16 years old.

Truly amazing, and bravo to the Wind Games organizers…hope it lasts forever!

I expect that this competition will be with us from now on – it’s just that magical!

I love that social media allows me to find these unique new competitions – with great information and video to go along – it reminds me of another dance video I shared with you all:

Genki Sudo Rules!

If you haven’t seen these “World Order” synchronized music videos, prepare to be amazed – just click here!

This all takes me back to this music video as well:

Remember this wacky “naked” dance video from the streets of Tokyo? Of course you do!

If not, click here to see one of the most unique videos of all time!

  1. WOW!!! That skydancing video was incredible! This is the first I’ve ever heard of it, but I have been watching the World Order dance videos for a minute now, ( idk why i find them so funny though) and I did see that Naked People Dancing video around the time it was released, I think. I’d forgotten all about it! Thanx for making my Monday!

  3. HI John, this looks like a lot of fun. I remember reading a book when I was young about a girl who could fly in air currents. She had wings strapped to her back. It fascinated me at the time.

  4. I did actually see a report on this on the BBC some time back, John. It must be a great experience to feel so weightless.
    Best wishes, Pete.
