I haven’t seen any of the nominees, but being a huge Paul Thomas Anderson fan I can’t wait to see Licorice Pizza. Campion’s movie sounds interesting too. I’m not sure about Nighmare Alley, though. I love the old 1947 movie so I’m skeptical about the remake.

Power of the Dog is terrific, can’t say the same for PTA…sad because I’m a big fan of almost all of his films. Nightmare Alley is a gorgeous film: moody and well acted

I can’t wait for your review…Boogie is one of my top 20 films of all time, and many of his others are terrific…I also had big issues with Inherent, which was also an attempt to replicate a 70’s vibe…

See “CODA” – it’s heartwarming and beautifully acted in the lead roles by a mostly non-hearing cast!

I haven’t seen any of them, but I do like the look of ‘Belfast’. That will be one I want to watch.
Best wishes, Pete.
