Kelly’s New Christmas Song Is Here!
Fans were buzzing when word got out about the title of Kelly’s new Christmas sing:
“Christmas Isn’t Canceled (Just You)”
While it’s an upbeat, energized song, it’s also an honest one – Kelly sings candidly about Christmas this year in her house:
“I’ll be hanging every light I find in this house
Playin’ Christmas music so loudThis year Christmas won’t be quite so blue
And I’m gonna shout too much and dance in the snow
Drink just enough to let us go
Christmas isn’t canceled, just you…”
Kelly has released the song ahead of the release of the album, which is October 15th!
Here’s a cool video of the song with animated lyrics:
Bravo to Kelly Clarkson, Music Director Jason Halbert, Singer Jessi Collins and the entire creative team for a gorgeous, honest Christmas treat!
“When Christmas Comes Around” Is On The Way!
This is just the first single from Kelly’s new Christmas album.
As her record label says:
Arriving on October 15 via Atlantic Records, When Christmas Comes Around…will feature 15-tracks, including duets with Ariana Grande, Brett Eldredge and Chris Stapleton. The album will feature original songs such as the lead single “Christmas Isn’t Canceled (Just You),” “Glow” and “Santa, Can You Hear Me” and more. In addition to original songs, the project will also include covers of classic country hits like “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas,” “Santa Baby,” “Last Christmas” and amongst many others.
Look at those duets – and it’s a mix of traditional holiday songs and Kelly’s original compositions – cannot wait!
This is Kelly’s second holiday album, and her first is a terrific collection of new songs and classics as well!

Good luck to Kelly, but Septmeber is too early for Christmas in my world. The supermarkets are already stocking Christmas gifts, and we haven’t even had Halloween yet. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

The album is October 15th – give it a chance to sell through the holiday, as they don’t sell after that Pete!
