“The Matrix Resurrections” Trailer Is Here! Check Out Keanu Reeves!

“Matrix” Fans Rejoice!

Fans of all things Matrix were in fandom heaven when the new trailer for “The Matrix: Resurrections” hit the internet!

 Here’s how it was reported:

The Matrix Resurrections trailer premiered on Thursday in all of its mind-bending glory.

The trailer features Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, reprising their roles as mirror-shades-touting freedom fighters Neo and Trinity. Well, not exactly. In Resurrections, the pair appear to be playing “new” characters once again being woken up to the fact that they’re living in a simulation designed by robot overlords. Neo doesn’t know he’s Neo anymore, but a new character, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (HBO’s WatchmenCandyman) with extreme Morpheus vibes, breaks him free of his virtual prison. Or maybe he’s not Neo, just a lookalike with a John Wick beard.

Enjoy!

After an exhilarating first film, the “somewhat of a letdown” part two and the really dour third film, this looks to be an energized return to form!

It will be great to see Keanu back in action, pending the release in 2022 of “John Wick 4.” He is an accomplished martial artist, check out this directorial debut here:

  1. The release date for this 4th Matrix is a pretty cool palindrome 🙂
I can’t remember if the first Matrix came with a website, like this one.

  2. Love the first movie, and #2 was an intriguing continuation to the story. The last one, however, kind of ruined the whole franchise. I’m hoping that #4 goes back to basics. Fingers crossed! 😉

    • Yes, we both work in entertainment and have been lucky enough to meet a lot of stars…it’s a fascinating life to be sure! My wife is the Executive Producer of The Kelly Clarkson talk show and meets lots of them every single day – next Monday’s season 3 premiere has Chris Martin of Coldplay, who is one of the nicest of them!

  4. I always liked Keanu Reeves, John. An exciting sounding film.
