Ed Helms Serenades Kelly Clarkson! His “Office” Fisticuffs And A #Kellyoke Duet Is Here!

Ed Helms Serenades Kelly Clarkson!

One of the many reasons I love “The Kelly Clarkson Show” is that so many magical moments happen…like this!

Comic Actor Ed Helms came on to talk about his career, life and love of music – and then he serenades Kelly with one of her iconic songs!

Kelly knew that Ed had an ear for music because he’s in a band called The Lonesome Trio, but she was blown away when he pulled out his banjo and played a folksy cover of her song, “Since U Been Gone.” Kelly loved the rendition so much that she joined in!

Here is their duet:

I love this clip!

If you need more of this terrific moment, here is their entire conversation, which includes how much it hurt for him to perform the “wall punch” scene in “The Office!”

Every weekday, The Kelly Clarkson Show has a great mix of music, celebrity conversations, and feel good stories about real people: and each show begins with an incredible Kelly Clarkson performance.

  2. That was great. She seemed genuinely surprised. The banjo is cool, but I’m afraid I like Kelly’s version much better.

  6. I adored (The UK original) ‘The Office’, so I confess I flatly refused to watch a single second of the US remake. (The same with ‘Shameless’ starring W H Macy. )
That means I had never heard of Kelly’s guest. But he seems like a nice guy, and very talented. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.
