Happy 78th birthday to Paul McCartney – here’s a look at his most recent album – a terrific collection of songs!
Paul McCartney’s Continued Passion For Music!
He’s 78 years old today, born in 1942 – but Paul McCartney keeps making music, and his latest album is one of his best!
I’m celebrating his birthday by taking a trip through some of the songs from the album!
“Egypt Station” is Paul’s 17th solo album.
The name “Egypt Station” is shared by one of McCartney’s paintings from 1988 – yes, the cover art is Paul’s creation…
Macca Rocks To The Top Of The Charts!
“Egypt Station” debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 in September. It was McCartney’s first US number one album since “Tug of War” in 1982, as well as his eighth number-one album overall.

I got to see Paul last summer at Dodger stadium. One of the best concerts I have ever been to. I got to sing the chorus to Hey Jude with him along with everyone else in the stadium. Just awesome.

I can never get enough of Paul. Of course I was also madly in love with him in 1965.

It’s actually him, more than the music. He’s so smug! And Linda Eastman didn’t help, always ‘hanging on’, and pretending to play or sing something. I wish he had stayed as he was in the begining, but that was too much to ask. 🙂
