Top 3 on Travel: the beginning of There and Back Again

For all of us who experience “wanderlust”, here’s some great inspiration!

The Endless Weekend

“All that is gold does not glitter
Not all those who wander are lost”
─ J. R. R. Tolkien
In the background is a wanderer in a dark, green forest
Plans that are not set in stone, giving us the flexibility to discover hidden gems.

“I love to travel, but hate to arrive.” --- Albert Einstein.
On the background is a long road to a lighthouse.
It’s the journey, the experience, more so than the destination.

*This quote is often (mis?)attributed to Mark Twain but QI tells us it is likely by H. Jackson Brown.

These three quotes are part of our code, or rather, guidelines, as we embark on our travels (the differentiation is borrowed from Pirates of the Caribbean, “The code is more what you’d call ‘guidelines’ than actual rules” :)). We have big plans for travel, from Antarctica to Zurich, but we’re starting our first steps wandering closer to the equator, starting in the USA. More on our journey as we arrive at our first stop (it’s not to pick up a hobbit to avoid bad luck, there are two of us, not 13, on our journey!).

What are your thoughts about whatY makes good…
