The Bloggers Bash Nominees Are Unveiled! You Can Vote Now! Here Is The Link! I’m Honored To Be Nominated…

Get Ready For A Bloggers Bash!

If you are reading this, then you know that I have a blog – and I try to post something every single day. Recently, I found out I was nominated by the Bloggers Bash in the category of “entertainment” – and I’d love you to consider voting for me as I plan for my trip to the event in London in June.

The ballot is open until April 24, so if so inclined, here is the link to the official ballot where you can place your vote:

https://annualbloggersbash.com/2019/04/10/the-annual-bloggers-bash-awards-2019-vote-is-live/

I am truly honored to have been nominated, and I look forward to meeting all of my fellow Bloggers to introduce ourselves in person and discuss why we love to blog.

So that said: why do I? I know, some of you think it’s because of this:

I know, I post about bacon A LOT, but why not? It’s BACON!

But, for those who follow me, you know that I post every day on a variety of topics – it could be about a cult movie I love, an interesting book I’ve read, a unique travel adventure I’ve had, a great restaurant meal I’ve eaten or even the messiest burger in Los Angeles:

Yes, I ate that, but I’m a quasi-journalist and that’s what people like that do…I also love to cook, and have shared a few of my efforts – from this successful Boeuf Bourguignon recipe courtesy of Julia Child:

That dish came from my “Dinner And A Movie” series, where I make a dish from a film, share the recipe, and review the movie as well. I love those posts, as they celebrate two things I love: food and cinema!

Every Wednesday I share a “Bookmobile” segment, highlighting interesting books I’ve read, like the original novel of “The Princess Bride” – yes it was a book before it became a beloved film!

My wife Alex came up with another great idea: I write “Hitch Hiking” stories that combine a great hike with a classic Hitchcock film – including once recently in Beverly Hills that led to an encounter with a rattlesnake!

Yes, it was possibly more terrifying than the Hitchcock film that came after it: “Psycho!”

I also post about pop culture, music, personalities and whatever else crosses the transom of my mind – and recently I began a “what the Friday” segment where I share the truly bizarre things in our world like this:

Yes, an Artist made a “JAWS”-inspired baby bassinet, and if that’s not worth sharing, then what is the point of the internet?

The Bloggers Bash group has an annual event, and this year I will be going for the first time. The 5th Annual Bloggers Bash Awards will be taking place in London in June – and now is your chance to go and vote on nominees in many categories…

2019 Annual Bloggers Bash Nominee

Best Entertainment Blog Nominee!

I am honored to be one of the nominees for Best Entertainment Blog – and I am excited to meet the other nominees and talk entertainment – I know I seem to spend enough time at the keyboard trying to come up with something to say:

As you can see, I just took that gif from the internet to use as an example of how fast I type – I am NOT suggesting that Jim Carrey has ever, or will ever, do my typing for me.

That said, I am excited to meet all of the fellow nominees in all of the different categories, because they have all taken the time to write and post and entertain.

Once again, you can vote for all categories by clicking here to be taken to the official site:

You can also vote for any and all of them – and I would love you to take a moment to consider my nomination as well – after I received word of it, I posted a story about what it meant to be a blogger, and why I love social media so much – you can see that story here:

Again, congratulations to all of the nominees in all of the categories, I am looking forward to meeting a lot of great bloggers in June!
