Incredible Hammock Caravan Over A Canyon! Amazing Travel Adventures Around The World!

Ticket To The Moon – The Hammock Caravan!

Wow! Talk about the most adventurous way to relax! This is an amazing “hammock caravan” – which I found on the website Wahlhuetter.net!

Here is how the website explains this:

“This year the annual hammock gathering moved along the road to the Tijesno Canyon in Bosnia and Herzegowina to the Drill and Chill Climbing and Highlining Festival. This year marks the fourth round of this unusual come together and the set up got even bigger. For this years project the chosen spot was an impressive 80 meter gap over the Oker-Sector more than 200 meters above the canyon floor. To fill this huge gap with shiny hammocks, organizer and project coordinator Igor Scotland from Ticket to the Moon hammocks came up with a special 5 meter hammock-version to host participating athletes. In total 19 people in 17 hammocks literally hung out for around 4 hours in this airy heights.”

Here is an incredible video showing how it all came together:

All I can say is:

“BRAVO!”

Here is their website with all the information about this annual gathering:

Of course, it reminded me of a story I shared before – a VERY adventurous hiking AROUND a mountain:

Not sure I’d be up for this one as well – take a look at more incredible photos like this:

You can see my entire story, with information on where this is in China and just how dangerous it is by clicking here:

Again, bravo to the adventurous group at Wahlhuetter.net for the incredible “ticket to the moon!”

  1. Wow! The hammock caravan looks spectacular. As a kid in northern Sweden, we sometimes encountered (probably not very safe) old swinging bridges across raging rivers and waterfalls. That was usually the highlights for us kids. Happy New Year!

  2. Ummm…no! I love my hammock but with solid ground below me. Those people are crazy!

  3. Ahhhh! John, I feel ill just looking at these pictures.

  4. All I can sat is YIKES!!!

  5. I can see they are attached to safety lines, but still…
The height wouldn’t bother me too much, if I was standing on something solid. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  6. I’d pass but if you wanted to do it I would be totally supportive and hold your valuables for you at the nearest bar. I’d wait with a drink of course.

  7. The fam and I just saw Free Solo, the documentary about the guy who climbed El Capitan without ropes — or hammocks! You are both crazy!

  8. What’s with you and heights! The first post of yours I read had restaurants way high up. Makes me dizzy just glancing at those incredible photos. I must share. It’s definitely made me gasp (my benchmark).

  9. Oh wow! Not sure I could stomach this. The people in that last photo look photoshopped, what an amazingly clear shot! x
