In light of the breaking story about Douglas, it’s worth noting that he acted in several sexually-charged thrillers in the 80’s and early 90’s – he’s an iconic actor always willing to “put it all out there” and it’s sad to see this scandal developing
Time to honor an Actor who has always put it all out there!
Congratulations to Michael Douglas, the winner of the Golden Globe for Best Actor…for his amazing portrayal of Liberace in “Behind The Candelabra!”
Michael Douglas has always been an Actor willing to take risks – and never afraid to look like a fool! Need proof?
Sure, it looks like Douglas is having fun, but acting is tough work…I mean, you have to act with SO many people, and you are expected to do SO MANY THINGS:
And if you don’t watch out, you could end up making love to Sharon Stone, Glenn Close AND Demi Moore….like I said, acting is sure TOUGH WORK…

Nice tribute to MD and the sexy sleaze of those must-see films. I loved them all!
He was great as Liberace too, and I only watched that film late in 2016.
Best wishes, Pete.

Pete, not sure if you saw the setup to it – he has proactively come forward to deny salacious charges against him from 30+ years ago by a former employee…sad to see and hope its not true, but we will have to see how it plays out…

No, and for many, the charges are from long ago, so litigating them in the press is making it tough to know where the truth lies…sad to see but many of the cases are long overdue so we just have to see where the truth is on each one individually versus lumping them all together

I think the press should be banned from reporting any case until it gets to court. Mud sticks, even if proven innocent of the charges.

You are absolutely correct…a good friend of mine was named in a newspaper article because he was questioned for a horrible crime…he was a TV News cameraman so it was a catchy headline – of course he was completely innocent and the police said so soon after….the first report was front page, the story that exonerated him was buried deep within the paper, and people for years referred to him as the perpetrator of the horrible crime…sad – the great Paul Newman / Sally Field film “Absence of Malice” deals with the issue well
