Todd Rundgren Teams Up With Half Of Steely Dan!

Todd’s new “White Knight” CD is full of great musical collaborations, including one very political song with Steely Dan’s Donald Fagen…

Bravo to Cleopatra Records for the terrific support of Todd’s new “White Knight” album, as the second music video has been released…yes, the song is very political, but Todd has never shied away from politics in the past – here it is – “Tin Foil Hat”:

Obviously, “Tin Foil Hat” is an indictment of our current President, with razor-sharp lyrics…

“He’s coming down the escalator
With a girl from east of here
He wants to make the country greater
We’ve got nothing left to fear.

Because the man in the tin foil hat
Is tweeting like a teen age girl
He puts the Pluto in plutocrat
But it’s gonna be a huge, yuge, hyuge new world.”

Todd’s Message To Fans!

Todd is getting a ton of press for his song, including a recent Fox News appearance, where he discussed the song and his political point of view…here is one great writeup – that specifically explains WHY Todd told Trump supporters not to come to his show:

“Rundgren, who recently told Variety that Trump supporters should not come to his concerts, debuted “Tin Foil Hat” on Fox News’ “Watters World.” Rundgren told host Jesse Watters that he created the video to show at his live shows during a costume change, but it spurred shouting matches in the audience.

“It just became very disruptive, and I thought if you’re that easily ticked off, you probably will become annoyed at some point in this show, and confrontation is not what the show is about,” Rundgren said on the program.”

While most headlines just say that Todd doesn’t want Trump fans at his shows, he was actually saying that, because of the material in the concert, they might not enjoy it…
