I’m trying to find your article/page about With a Twist, but no luck so far. I had the opportunity to see one of the shows from the tour. It was very interesting, with Todd and band not playing to the general audience nor speaking to them, but everything was directed toward the pre-concert-chosen couples who sat at tables onstage. Three sets were played. One of the sets ended with the twisted version of Hello It’s Me – very haunting, with a dry ice effect at the very end, allowing TR and the band to make their exit. When the dry ice effect was over, they had disappeared. It was quite impressive. In-between two of the sets was the appearance of a comedian who told horrible jokes (I believe this was part of the act) and was just about about booed off the stage. Aside from the songs from With a Twist, the material that was played consisted of songs that spanned most of Todd’s career.
