Heads Up, It’s Genki Sudo And His World Order!
I love finding unique creative endeavors from around the world, and a few years ago I came across one of the greatest, most colorful music videos EVER!

Just when you think you’re done celebrating the magic of Tokyo, along comes Genki Sudo and his music/dance group World Order!

Using the colorful streets of Tokyo as their synchronized set, the J-pop music group World Order, led by Genki Sudo, take you on a tour of the most exciting city on earth!

The Incredible Genki Sudo!
Genki Sudo is a Japanese MMA fighter, singer, actor and politician who has been serving as a political independent in the House of Councillors since 2019. Between 1998 and 2006, Sudo was a professional athlete and then was in the entertainment industry from 2006 to 2019.

Sudo was also the lead vocalist, producer and director of the music group World Order, who were known for their techno music style and highly synchronised robotic choreography.

Here now is some of the amazing work that was created by Genki Sudo and World Order. And I mentioned earlier: IT’S SYNCHRONIZED DANCING THROUGH THE STREETS OF TOKYO!

It’s an amazingly fun music video that takes a colorful trip through Tokyo, where they meet, among many others, Tokyo’s colorful Cosplay maids:

Need More Genki Sudo?
Well, I have it for you! Here is another of their amazing videos, “Welcome To Tokyo!”
Here Is World Order’s Newest Video!
Sudo takes on the role of a “Neo Samurai” in the group’s latest video, released in 2025….as always, terrific synchronization, and some beautiful imagery as well…take a look:
Great to see that their incredible artistry is as creative as ever!
Genki Sudo has such a varied and fascinating career – but the music of Tokyo is so much more then just his group World Order:

My son explored Tokyo’s famous “Golden Gai” district – where there are more than 200 bars in just a three block radius – and he met a young bartender – so we all went back to see him:

It turns out he is also a Musician, and so he performed for us!
It’s all art of the magic of Tokyo – if you click here you can see some of the most magical experiences we had there:
I also shared this video from a restaurant in Tokyo where the Chefs, after making you lunch, perform for you as well!
See where this restaurant is located and take a look at the great food we had as well – just click on my story here:

At first I thought this might be gangman style dancing. Very cool.

Yes, it was! You’ll like this story: My group of friends have been together since our kids sang in a children’s choir. So, we all like music. When our kids got married, we would perform at the rehearsal dinner. It started with the Chiffons and grew to Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and even The Spencer Davis Group. We always brought down the house. Our big hit was starting “Going To the Chapel” and breaking into gangman style dancing. Hilarious!

These are interesting videos, John. I haven’t heard of the group but Japan has a huge music, food, and film culture of their own.

Incredible choreography. I remebember I discovered World Order through your blog some time ago. The staff and I used to do a song for our school’s talent show each year., though our moves were nothing like this. One year we did Gangnam Style by PSY. That was a lot of fun.

The synchronised dance group is great, John. I also really like the traditional Samisen music. Shared on Twitter.
Best wishes, Pete.
