Just Some Polar Bears Out For A Day In The Sun!
I shared some footage of the snow in New York City last weekend, and we had some additional snow mid-week. As a result, some enterprising Polar Bear advocates used The Great Lawn in Central Park to raise awareness for the animal’s plight!
These intricate snow sculptures were dotted around Central Park’s Great Lawn, and they were beautifully done – shining bright on a sunny, 36 degree day!
Take a look at the video I took!
These snow sculptures were created to raise awareness for the plight of the Polar Bear, as climate change has created devastating obstacles to their survival.
There were links to get more information – and considering the reporting that highlights the struggles of the polar bear in the Arctic, these sculptures were as important as they were visually stunning.
I love nature, and the magnificent creatures that inhabit the great outdoors…they have every right to co-exist with us – and some even have fun with selfies like we do!
Yes, a camera captured some really funny photos of black bears, and you can see them all here:
As for wildlife encounters, remember when I was in Malibu and had a fun Dolphin encounter as well:
It had me wondering:
How do they sleep?
Click here for what I discovered!
I also discovered that wild Elk are plentiful and unafraid when I visited Washington’s Olympic peninsula – check this out:
Literally hundreds rammed the streets of the small town of Brinnon – here’s that story:

Oh wow adorable! I remember I went to central park zoo. If I were to see them, I’d be like “hey bear, you came to walk too far”!🤣

The polar bears are the work of a real talent. I hope the real ones survive longer than the sculptures will.

I fear they will become extinct within the next fifty years or so. It’s sad.
