A celebration of food!
Time To Taste The World’s Best Food!
Here is a food lover’s dream come true: a taste of the world’s best food – all thanks to a single restaurant – that has worked with these culinary temples to create a menu of the greatest dishes from around the world!
Here I am outside NEXT restaurant in Chicago – the title on the door says it all, as the press release confirms:
“Grant Achatz and the ultra creative team at NEXT, an ever evolving restaurant whose menu and style changes around every three months, will present a unique ‘World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ themed dinner on August 23 – December 31.
The dinner will feature a collection of famous dishes from some of the biggest names on the World’s 50 Best Restaurant list: Daniel Humm, Dan Barber, Virgilio Martinez, Massimo Bottura, Gaggan Anand and Andre Chiang – to name just a few.

Chicago is a TERRIFIC city for so many reasons; while it has serious problems to deal with, it is a city filled with friendly, polite people, great things to see and do, and amazing food! Whenever you get there you will love it! A night time cruise on the Chicago river is sublime…

I’m going to Illinois next week. I’m praying I can get to Chicago and have a bite to eat on Rush Street. I love Chicago food. 🙂

I love the ethnic food. Polish, German, Irish, Asian, expecially the Italian. Well, heck, let’s throw in the ballgame dogs while I’m at it. My roots are Midwestern and I’ll not apologize. 😉

Street food is as much an art form as fine dining and I love all of it….agree as well that ethnic food is a window into a culture!

Cindy, if you get to Chicago, the area west of the river on Randolph is exploding with incredible places, like Au Cheval and Roister, which is Chef Grant Achetz’s chicken place…casual and incredible
