Welcome To Cannes 2017!
Located in the south of France, on the fabled French Riviera, Cannes is one of the most beautiful spots on earth! And for two weeks a year, is is also the site of the world’s most glamorous film festival. Need proof?
Um, well maybe it’s not ALL glamour, but it IS full of stars, like the year Arnold Schwarzenegger showed up to show off his new movie!
The 70th edition of the festival got off to a rocky start when the official poster was released:

I can recall when Cannes was a big deal, and we watched it on TV specials. Now it gets a passing mention on the news over here. We had the Baftas last night, but it was more or less a clean sweep for (Yawn…) La La Land. I didn’t even bother to watch it, as the top prize winners were all ‘leaked’.
