  1. Is it today, John? I hope that ‘your’ team wins!
Either way, I am sure that you will not be short of any ‘game food’.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    • And I have never had a ‘Twinkie’. They don’t sell them here. I am guessing that they are sweet, and fattening. I remember the black cop in ‘Die Hard’ buying some.

      • Pete, “Twinkies” are a vanilla sponge cake log stuffed with a creamy paste…they are legendary for NEVER molding – tests have shown that they will outlast anything! The company went bankrupt years ago and public outcry caused someone to buy the company and bring them back – they are, as your country would say, “rubbish” – but funny, like canned “Spotted Dick!”

      • Tinned Spotted Dick! Now you’re talking, John! Yummy with custard.
Enjoy the game. I will be searching online for Twinkies…

      • Twinkies are available from Amazon UK. They have Hostess original, as well as chocolate filled, chocolate covered, or banana cream flavour. They are good value too, £10 for 20 cakes, so 50 pence each. I had better order some larger trousers while I’m at it…

      • Pete, I have a can of Spotted Dick – never opened, but funny, so I bought it. Try the original version – the classics – don’t worry, you have YEARS AND YEARS to finish them off!

    • Pete, yes the Super Bowl is today, so “sandwich stadium” posts end tonight!
