Welcome To Tokyo’s First Comic-Con!
Fans of G4 know that we went live every year at San Diego’s iconic Comic-Con convention -but now, Tokyo has one as well!
Cue The Booth Babes!
A “Booth Babe” is a young woman who hands out free stuff, like these “Justice League” bags – they are a Comic-Con tradition, and Tokyo has them as well!
Thanks to the amazing “RocketNews24” website, here is your first look at some of the images of the inaugural Tokyo Come-Con!

I was lucky enough to go to San Diego’s Comic-Con many times, as G4 was live from the convention floor with the biggest and still unmatched live coverage:
I miss those crazy days, when G4 would have days and days of live coverage – along with live talent signings like this one for Alison Haislip:
All of G4’s talent would take part in the main hall signings: Morgan Webb, Olivia Munn, Kevin Pereira, Blair Butler, Candace Bailey and Sara Underwood to just name a few…
Here is a look at those amazing live shows:

Speaking of amazing live shows, have you seen what Tokyo does with their “Pop Idol” phenomenon?
The “Tokyo Idol” live shows are hugely popular in Japan – see some of the action here!
Maybe next year I’ll go to Tokyo’s Comic-Con!

Those are some crazy outfits indeed, John. But the Japanese girls really know how to rock that sexy attire!
Best wishes, Pete.
