“Your Own Personal Heart Attack!”
Yes, that’s how one news story describes the “Southern Cycle Burger” – I mean check out the ingredients!
With the 2021 World Series starting tonight in Houston, you’ll have to wait until Friday’s game #3 to try this magnificent stack of food on toasted bread!
I’m not sure exactly how you can pick up and eat a burger that has “soft fried eggs” on top – it has to be as messy as it is delicious!
If you were at the game, would you buy one?
Best of luck to both teams in the World Series – and thanks to my friend Guy for sharing this with me!
It turns out Atlanta is well known for their wacky stadium food!
Behold The “Blooper Burger!”
Yes, this is their idea too: the Blooper Burger is four cheeseburger patties, four chicken tenders and a foot long hot dog, topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and jalapenos, then covered in American cheese and nacho cheese sauce, all on Texas toast!
Not sure how to bite into this one, but it would be fun to try!
And what about this?
The Burgerizza!”
This $26 concession offering also came from their stadium, creatively named “Burgerizza,” is described as a “grilled 20-oz. all-beef patty, covered with five slices of cheddar cheese, topped with crispy bacon, and served between two 8-inch pepperoni pizzas.” When asked how many calories it has, a spokesperson for the food service company Delaware North said “We have not calculated that, but we do know the taste is off the charts!”
HA!
Remember I just recently did this myself:
Some leftover pizza sparked this burger mashup – see how I made it, and more importantly how it tasted, by clicking on my story here:

I would definitely buy one and eat most of it at home.

My dad would love this burgher, John. With regards to the soft eggs, where there’s a will, I’m sure there is a way.

The first one sounds good but don’t know that I could handle it all together)

Agree – and so messy!

$22 is £16, and over here that’s a lot for a sports snack, even such a huge one! But I would love to try it. Not at a sports game though, far too messy to eat outside like that.
Best wishes, Pete.
