Celebrate This Valentine’s Day With Chocolate – And Ramen!
It’s that time again: romance is in the air, and it’s time to plan that special gift that says “I LOVE YOU!” So, with that in mind, here’s an idea: what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with chocolate…in ramen noodles!
The terrific Reporters at SoraNews24.com have the story of a ramen restaurant chain in Japan that has a tasty way to say “I love you – and ramen – and chocolate!”
The ramen chain Korakuen will be bringing back their popular Chocolate Ramen, along with a new variety of White Chocolate Ramen, to celebrate this Valentine’s Day season.
As SoraNews24 reports, while this isn’t a new idea, the presentation is!
“Though Korakuen isn’t the first to sell either chocolate or white chocolate-flavored ramen, previous renditions we’ve tried have either been tsukemen style, in which you dip the noodles into the chocolate broth, or have used chocolate as a topping, rather than incorporating it into the broth.”
So this is, in fact, white chocolate soup!
These delicious “bowls of chocolate love” sell for 640 yen (US$5.87) each, and the restaurant plans to keep them on the menu until March 11.

Oh no! I keep thinking the most bizarre food invention has been created, then I look at your site and find a new one 😂 It doesn’t have the savoury flavour as well, does it? I can imagine chocolate and noodles are good together, but not sure about chocolate in a thin liquid…

I think it’s more of a hint than anything else…it’s a very good ramen restaurant so I don’t think they are offering it as a joke, but as a good dish! thanks for reading and commenting!

Chocolate ramon – hmm. I think I’ll stick with chocolate fondue.
But would I try it – sure!
Arguably you could layer chocolate with tarmac and it would be a hit.
More fun stuff John.
Thanks for the visit.

I remember being impressed by those bacon roses before, John. White chocolate soup is not that appealing to me.

Does your wife like bacon roses? Or would she throw them at you???

She finds them funny! So, in other words, more likely to be thrown in the air than consumed!

I remember those bacon roses, it was one of the rare oddity finds here I’d actually like!
Shouldn’t be surprised by chocolate ramen. It’s like their alternative to the UK’s chocolate rice pop cereal 😂

Chocolate and ramen is not for me, John. But I am totally on board with the bacon roses!
As for M&S, I think that company is being deliberately ‘cheeky’. A ‘love sausage’ can mean something very different over here! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
