Um…NOTHING! I MADE NOTHING!
That’s my answer to what I posted in the title…I didn’t make anything with it!
So here is my Halloween “trick or treat” for you – I actually DID purchase a can of Hormel’s limited edition “Pumpkin Spice Spam” a few weeks ago – but ran out of time to come up with the right thing to make with it!
Here it sits: one of Hormel’s more entertaining ways to bring attention to their iconic SPAM brand – and they wanted to help me figure something out – look at the back of the can:
Well, I’m open to some SPAM slices atop French Toast – but would that be unique enough for a can that cost me – wait for it – $50?
Yes, it was a limited edition, and I found a seller online willing to part with this can of goodness for $50…oh, and if you are interested, here’s what’s inside the can:
But honestly, while I wanted to make some unique “Pumpkin Spice Spam” dishes for you, I just never got around to doing it…but don’t worry – I’ve got until August of 2022 to open this baby up!
So, this Halloween will NOT see an array of Pumpkin Spice delights, but remember, I already shared a bunch of “Pumpkin Spice” products for you to enjoy:
Yes, it’s such a big deal that there is a great “guide” for you to follow! See that by clicking on the story here:

Oh, SPAM is very popular in some areas….and people who live in more remote areas are huge consumers because it lasts forever so you always have food!

$50? That better be the best pumpkin-spam creation known to man! Plenty of time for you to dream something up, what will it be I wonder..?

What do you mean I’m a sucker? I know you didn’t say it, but I admit that $50 was a steep price…however, if I can get 4 separate posts from it, it’s only $12.50 a blog! Thanks for commenting!

And they’re going to be blog posts nobody else will be able to do, so this pumpkin spam will create four separate, unique posts like no others 😂

I agree with your sister. In fact, you could leave it until a lot later than that. I reckon you could still eat it after 50 years! But that price is extortionate! No wonder you don’t want to open it. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

This evening, mine’s a Malbec. £6, very reasonable. (It was on offer, reduced by £3)

Yes, it is a very salty condensed meat…better flavors now and I know that Chefs cook with it in unique ways, so I have to!
