4 years ago, we partied with the President…good luck to all the Candidates across all ballots today!
Hail To The Chief and The First Family!
Alex and I were lucky enough to be at President Obama’s re-election party in Chicago…our friend Kareen was with us…here are some pictures from inside the event…as more than ten thousand people packed the McCormack Center in Chicago on election night!
Our Golden Ticket!
First of all, here was our golden ticket for admission: our “honored guest” pass that allowed us to be right up front, less than 30 feet form the stage!
First, we had to navigate a huge crowd pouring into McCormack Center in Chicago…very orderly and festive, and we got in pretty quickly after going through a quick security checkpoint…we still had time to pose for some pictures under the President’s slogan:
Once inside, we had a great view of the stage…the stage less than 30 feet away…note the President’s podium in the upper left of the picture below…

Pete, I am a political history buff, and we have weathered a LOT in our 240 years – this was the worst I have ever seen, but we will prevail!
